Application Process
This adhesive strip is particularly suitable for applications involving heat-shrinkable tubing that covers multiple wire harnesses (more than three wires). The process involves:
Preparation: Cut the hot melt adhesive strip to the appropriate length.
Insertion: Insert the strip into the gap of the wiring harness.
Heating: Use a hot melt glue gun to heat the heat-shrinkable tubing and the adhesive strip. Ensure thorough heating of the adhesive.
Optimal Heating: For best results, use an oven to heat the adhesive strip and heat-shrinkable tubing together.
Sealing: The adhesive strip provides ample hot melt adhesive to ensure that the heat-shrinkable tubing fully seals the multi-wire harness, offering excellent waterproof and moisture-proof protection.
Storage and Handling Notes
Storage: Store the hot melt adhesive in cool, dry conditions.
Temperature Sensitivity: Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures (above 200°C) as this may degrade the adhesive's performance and appearance.
