Silicone Rubber Self-adhesive Tape

Self-fusing silicone rubber self-adhesive tape has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, impact resistance, good strength, high breakdown voltage, waterproof, etc. Its tensile strength, elongation and dielectric strength performance indicators exceed similar products, and it is easy to construct and reliable to use. It is a kind of insulation material suitable for H-class motors and electrical appliances, or anti-ozone and anti-corona high-voltage moisture-proof tape. It not only improves the overall performance of the motor, but also makes the wires after binding form a solid whole.

1. Electrical insulation performance

(1) Volume resistivity: at least 10 to the 13th power ohm/cm. (ASTM D257);

(2) The insulation voltage per millimeter thickness reaches 27KV, which can provide a safe insulation environment for the winding; using a thickness of 0.5mm can achieve an insulation voltage of 13.5KV, which can meet the insulation requirements, or called silicone high-voltage self-adhesive tape;

(3) The main component of this product contains silicon, even after burning, it generates silicon dioxide, which still has insulation properties;

(4) For some special occasions, Arlon also has completely flame-retardant products to provide a completely insulated and safe operating environment;

(5) It has excellent anti-corona performance, arc protection and anti-magnetic track performance, providing a safe working environment.

2. Temperature resistance and aging resistance

(1) Temperature resistance range -50℃～+260℃; maximum temperature resistance 350℃;

(2) Thermal stability 180℃. If used for a long time at this temperature, the product can be used safely for more than 10 years, and has excellent aging resistance;

(3) Under 260℃ environment, the long-term service life is up to 2000 hours at this temperature;

3. Sealing and moisture-proof performance

(1) The main material of the self-fusing silicone rubber tape is silicone rubber. Water vapor will not penetrate through the silicone tape. It has excellent moisture-proof performance and achieves effective insulation;

(2) After wrapping with tape, wrap it in a 1/2 overlap manner. It can achieve self-fusion within 24 hours at room temperature. After wrapping, each layer is permanently fused into one layer, and the process is irreversible. It fits tightly to the wrapped part. Due to its good conformability, it can fit tightly even in irregular curved parts without warping, achieving sealing function;

(3) The self-bonding strength is large, which can reach: 50g/mm; (Arlon SQA-TMS-047);

(4) Water absorption 0.9% (46 hours in H20 at 21°C)

4. Chemical properties

(1) Anti-oxidation and anti-ozone properties;

(2) Anti-ultraviolet and good weather resistance;

(3) The main material is silicone rubber, which has good resistance to oil and other solvents and corrosion resistance.

5. Mechanical properties

(1) Self-fusing silicone rubber tape has excellent shock absorption and heat insulation effects;

(2) Self-fusing silicone rubber tape has good mechanical impact resistance;

(3) The stretching rate reaches 400%-500%;

6. Easy maintenance

(1) The surface is non-sticky, the surface is not sticky to the touch, and it does not adhere to the contacted surface;

(2) When subsequent maintenance is required, the self-fusing tape can be easily removed after the blade cuts it;

7. Easy to use

(1) One layer of wrapping can play a good insulation role, reducing labor and cost;

(2) All tapes are protected by a special isolation lining. When using, remove the lining and directly wrap the contact surface.

8. Usage method

(1) The stretching rate reaches 400%-500%. When wrapping, stretch it 200%;

(2) It is advisable to overlap half when stretching and wrapping, and the last circle of wrapping will overlap naturally.
